However, you can still medicate safely without leaving your home by getting your treatment delivered to you.
Getting your treatment delivered allows you to:

- Follow social distancing efforts and stay-at-home orders
- Avoid walk-in pharmacies as recommended
Our COVID-19 Pharmacy Safety Protocol for our employees:
- High-touched surfaces are sanitized on a schedule
- Temperatures screened before and during shifts
- Consistent handwashing schedule
- All employees are required to wear gloves and mask at all time
Oral & Injectable Chemotherapy
M.D. Managed Treatment
AmeriPharma’s Medical Director, Dr. Luther D. Glenn, M.D., Board Certified Oncologist and Hematologist, oversees all oncology therapies. He acts as an extra resource for prescribers, provides education to pharmacists, and helps develop protocols for patient management.
We work with the patient’s insurance and doctors to coordinate prescriptions, prior authorizations, refills, and deliveries. Our patient care coordinators remove these responsibilities from the patient so they’re free to focus on their treatment.
Prior Authorizations Within 48 Hours
Our expert team of billers work with the patient’s insurance to obtain prior authorizations in less than two days to ensure that there is no gap in care.
Our nurses, pharmacists and support staff are available 24/7/365 to answer all questions and expedite requests when needed.
We act on the patient’s behalf to secure financial aid and decrease out-of-pocket expenses such as co-pays and high deductibles. To date, AmeriPharma Specialty Care has secured $55 million in financial assistance for our patients.
Triple accreditation by URAC, ACHC, and VIPPS shows that we meet the highest industry standards to deliver the best possible patient experience.
What is oral chemotherapy?
Oral chemotherapy is a cancer-fighting drug given by mouth in tablet, capsule, or liquid form. It is prescribed by your doctor, nurse practitioner, or physician’s assistant. Today, many cancer patients receive oral chemotherapy as treatment.
What are the advantages of oral chemotherapy?
Oral chemotherapy offers several advantages over the parenteral route. Among the biggest advantages are patient convenience and flexibility in timing and location of administration. Another advantage involves flexibility of drug exposure by providing more prolonged therapy compared with intermittent IV exposure.
How does it work?
Oral chemotherapy kills or weakens cancer cells, and it usually comes in the form of a pill. As with other prescription medications, people can take oral chemotherapy drugs at home. While intravenous chemotherapy can be life-saving, it can also be inconvenient and potentially painful.
Where is the service offered?
