It occurs during or within 6 hours of infusion. Symptoms, besides hypotension, include:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rapid breathing\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shortness of breath<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fever<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rapid heart rate<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bacterial_Infection\"><\/span>Bacterial Infection<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bacterial infections occur extremely rarely. Infection could result from contamination during IVIG administration. The decision to resume infusion is case-specific.
