This medication is typically used with cyclosporine and corticosteroids.<\/p>\n<p>Your provider will calculate the starting dose based on your body weight or body surface area and the estimated risk of rejection of the transplanted kidney. Then, they will adjust the dose (maintenance dose) to achieve the desired blood concentration of sirolimus. The maximum dose is 40 mg per day.<\/p>\n<h3>Treatment of Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM)<\/h3>\n<p>The initial dose is 2 mg\/day. Your provider will determine the trough level, usually between days 10 and 20.
