Reactivated hepatitis B virus can lead to liver failure and death. Reactivation may happen during or after treatment with sofosbuvir.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thus, you will need to go through blood tests to check for hepatitis B virus before initiating therapy.
