leukemia.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>Follicular Lymphoma: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gazyva is approved for the treatment of previously untreated follicular lymphoma in combination with class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gazyva is a monoclonal antibody that binds to the CD20 protein on B cells, which are one type of white blood cell. B cells promote the production of antibodies, which are part of your immune system. Cancer cells typically have higher levels of CD20 proteins than healthy cells.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gazyva triggers an immune response when it binds to CD20. The drug-attached cells are attacked by and killed by signals that are sent out. For up to 2 years, you are permitted to take Gazyva once every 2 months.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Other_Drugs_Will_Affect_Gazyva\"><\/span>What Other Drugs Will Affect Gazyva?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tell your doctor if you take the following medications:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><b>A blood thinner:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Warfarin, coumadin, or jantoven.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b>A blood clot medication or prevention medication:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Dipyridamole, ticagrelor, cilostazol, clopidogrel, ticlopidine, and others.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is not a comprehensive list. There may be interactions between Gazyva and other medications, including vitamins and herbal supplements.
