Los pacientes con este trastorno sangu\u00edneo pueden presentar sangrado excesivo, especialmente interno, incluso con lesiones leves.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El sangrado interno repetido en las articulaciones o alrededor de ellas puede da\u00f1arlas permanentemente o provocar una afecci\u00f3n llamada <a href=\"https:\/\/onlinelibrary.wiley.com\/doi\/full\/10.1111\/hae.13449\">artropat\u00eda<\/a> (un tipo de enfermedad de las articulaciones) si no se controla y trata adecuadamente.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En este art\u00edculo, analizaremos en detalle la hemofilia y la salud articular. Ambos tipos de hemofilia aumentan el riesgo de hemorragia interna, especialmente en las articulaciones, una afecci\u00f3n conocida como <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/books\/NBK525999\/#:~:text=Hemarthrosis%20is%20bleeding%20into%20a,blood%20in%20the%20joint%20cavity.\">hemartrosis<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando un paciente experimenta hemorragias frecuentes (2 o 3 veces en 6 meses) en las mismas articulaciones, esto provoca inflamaci\u00f3n cr\u00f3nica, dolor y, con el tiempo, da\u00f1o articular a largo plazo. Generalmente, el da\u00f1o articular comienza despu\u00e9s de un episodio de hemorragia grave.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-does-joint-damage-occur-in-hemophilia-patients\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_Does_Joint_Damage_Occur_in_Hemophilia_Patients\"><\/span><strong>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se produce el da\u00f1o articular en pacientes con hemofilia?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Los pacientes con hemofilia suelen experimentar da\u00f1o articular similar al de los pacientes con artritis. El da\u00f1o se produce en dos zonas de las articulaciones: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.physio-pedia.com\/Synovium_%26_Synovial_Fluid#:~:text=Synovium%20(also%20called%20the%20synovial,that%20form%20an%20integrated%20joint.\">sinovio<\/a> y el cart\u00edlago.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-damage-to-the-synovium\"><strong>Da\u00f1os a la membrana sinovial<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>La membrana sinovial es una fina capa de tejido conectivo blando que recubre el interior de las articulaciones y produce l\u00edquido sinovial para reducir la fricci\u00f3n entre los huesos y facilitar el movimiento de las articulaciones. Esta zona (membrana sinovial) tambi\u00e9n contiene numerosos vasos sangu\u00edneos, raz\u00f3n por la cual el sangrado articular es com\u00fan en la hemofilia.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando se produce una hemorragia en la articulaci\u00f3n, la membrana sinovial absorbe sangre para extraerla de su cavidad. Como resultado, la membrana sinovial se engrosa debido a la acumulaci\u00f3n de hierro en la sangre y se inflama (o hincha). Esta afecci\u00f3n se conoce como <a href=\"https:\/\/my.clevelandclinic.org\/health\/diseases\/synovitis\">sinovitis<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-damage-to-the-cartilage\"><strong>Da\u00f1o al cart\u00edlago<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>La membrana sinovial inflamada libera enzimas y marcadores inflamatorios que degradan el cart\u00edlago articular. El cart\u00edlago es el tejido conectivo resistente pero flexible que recubre los extremos de los huesos y les permite moverse con fluidez. Cuando el cart\u00edlago se da\u00f1a o destruye, los huesos rozan entre s\u00ed, causando dolor y mayor da\u00f1o.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El sangrado continuo y el da\u00f1o articular pueden causar deformidad articular. Como resultado de una lesi\u00f3n articular persistente a lo largo del tiempo, la articulaci\u00f3n da\u00f1ada desarrolla artritis (o inflamaci\u00f3n articular) y dolor cr\u00f3nico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las articulaciones que se ven m\u00e1s afectadas y se da\u00f1an debido a sangrados repetidos son las articulaciones de bisagra, que incluyen las rodillas, los tobillos y los codos.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-can-you-prevent-joint-damage\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_Can_You_Prevent_Joint_Damage\"><\/span><strong>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se puede prevenir el da\u00f1o articular?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Se puede prevenir el da\u00f1o articular controlando o previniendo el sangrado. Una vez que la articulaci\u00f3n se da\u00f1a, se puede reparar, pero no puede recuperar la salud que ten\u00eda antes del da\u00f1o.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n se presentan las medidas preventivas que puede tomar para reducir el riesgo de da\u00f1o articular:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-regular-treatment-with-clotting-factor-replacement-therapy\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Regular_Treatment_With_Clotting_Factor_Replacement_Therapy\"><\/span><strong>Tratamiento regular con terapia de reemplazo de factores de coagulaci\u00f3n<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Si se produce una hemorragia, debe buscar inmediatamente tratamiento con terapia de reemplazo de factor de coagulaci\u00f3n. Durante esta terapia, se infunde en el torrente sangu\u00edneo el factor de coagulaci\u00f3n faltante. Use un andador o muletas para caminar y evite ejercicios con carga de peso.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>I<\/strong>Masajee la articulaci\u00f3n afectada durante 10 a 20 minutos cada 4 a 6 horas diariamente.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>do<\/strong>La compresi\u00f3n ayuda a limitar el sangrado y aliviar el dolor. Envuelva la venda el\u00e1stica alrededor del punto lesionado para comprimir la zona afectada.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>mi<\/strong>La elevaci\u00f3n disminuye la presi\u00f3n sobre los vasos sangu\u00edneos y permite que la sangre drene de la articulaci\u00f3n. En este caso, los m\u00e9dicos suelen recomendar tratamientos efectivos para tratar las articulaciones, reducir el dolor y mejorar su funci\u00f3n.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los siguientes son algunos procedimientos de tratamiento a los que puede someterse para tratar el da\u00f1o articular:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-synovectomy\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1_Synovectomy\"><\/span>1. Sinovectom\u00eda<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La sinovectom\u00eda consiste en la extirpaci\u00f3n de la membrana sinovial. Este procedimiento tiene como objetivo reducir la frecuencia de los episodios de sangrado, reducir el dolor cr\u00f3nico y ralentizar o detener la degeneraci\u00f3n articular. Generalmente, se recomienda para prevenir la progresi\u00f3n de la artropat\u00eda.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Generalmente se realiza de tres maneras: radioactiva, artrosc\u00f3pica y sinovectom\u00eda quir\u00fargica.
