Los diversos anticuerpos presentes en la IgIV modulan el sistema inmunitario y lo estimulan para combatir infecciones, enfermedades inflamatorias y trastornos autoinmunes.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>La dosis y la duraci\u00f3n del tratamiento con IgIV dependen de las necesidades y el estado de salud de cada paciente. La dosis inicial t\u00edpica de IgIV es de 400 a 600 mg\/kg de peso corporal cada 3 o 4 semanas.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Is_Neuropathy\"><\/span>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es la neuropat\u00eda?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>La neuropat\u00eda se refiere al da\u00f1o a los nervios, que produce debilidad, sensaci\u00f3n de hormigueo, entumecimiento y dolor en ciertas partes del cuerpo, dependiendo del tipo de neuropat\u00eda que se presente.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Los tipos comunes de neuropat\u00eda incluyen la neuropat\u00eda perif\u00e9rica, que afecta a los nervios ubicados en las extremidades, como las manos o los pies. Otros tipos comunes incluyen la neuropat\u00eda diab\u00e9tica, el da\u00f1o nervioso causado por diabetes cr\u00f3nica o niveles altos de az\u00facar en sangre, o la neuropat\u00eda auton\u00f3mica, que afecta a los nervios que controlan las funciones corporales autom\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"IVIG_Indications_for_Neuropathy\"><\/span>Indicaciones de IgIV para la neuropat\u00eda<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>La IgIV se administra com\u00fanmente a pacientes en quienes la neuropat\u00eda est\u00e1 asociada con enfermedades autoinmunes, como la polineuropat\u00eda desmielinizante inflamatoria cr\u00f3nica o el s\u00edndrome de Guillain-Barr\u00e9.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Por ejemplo, cuando los trastornos autoinmunes da\u00f1an los nervios, se produce inflamaci\u00f3n y dolor. La inmunoglobulina intravenosa (IVIG) se administra para atenuar la respuesta inmunitaria contra los nervios que los atacan.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Por lo tanto, la IgIV podr\u00eda no estar indicada en todos los pacientes con neuropat\u00eda, ya que depende principalmente de la causa del trastorno.
