Los principales electrolitos del organismo son el sodio, el potasio, el magnesio, el calcio, el fosfato y el cloruro. Algunos se encuentran dentro de las c\u00e9lulas (intracelularmente) y otros se encuentran principalmente fuera de ellas (extracelularmente).&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-function-of-electrolytes\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Function_of_Electrolytes\"><\/span>Funci\u00f3n de los electrolitos<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cada electrolito desempe\u00f1a una funci\u00f3n importante en el cuerpo, como se detalla a continuaci\u00f3n:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><b>Sodio (Na):<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> El sodio ayuda a regular la presi\u00f3n arterial manteniendo el equilibrio h\u00eddrico. A cada litro de soluci\u00f3n de amino\u00e1cidos\/dextrosa se le a\u00f1ade un volumen de 20 ml de electrolitos TPN (aditivo multielectrol\u00edtico).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los adultos normalmente reciben de dos a tres litros de soluci\u00f3n TPN por d\u00eda, junto con electrolitos TPN adicionales.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Las soluciones de TPN con electrolitos se administran a un ritmo constante, que var\u00eda de 83 a 125 ml\/hora, durante un per\u00edodo de 24 horas.
