Se contrae con mayor frecuencia a trav\u00e9s de relaciones sexuales sin protecci\u00f3n con una pareja infectada o al compartir agujas infectadas. VIH es la abreviatura del virus de la inmunodeficiencia humana. Este virus eventualmente causa el s\u00edndrome de inmunodeficiencia adquirida, com\u00fanmente llamado SIDA.
